Idea Description
seti antennae for home use.
high gain antennae pointed at the zenith (straight up).
multi band antennae especially nice.
have 1 or more receivers connected to antenna preferably 24/7.
preferably tuned to numerous frequencies.
keep a log of frequency, time, date, signal strength, recordings of demodulated signals, if any.
plot combinations of 2 or more of the above variables on 2+ dimensional graphs.
save copies of your log files in your web directory for public access.
if you have an amateur radio license (i don't currently by the way) transmit a cq every now and then, especially at times when a nearby star whose declination equals your latitude happens to be at the zenith.
